DIY - How to add radiance to your face and shrink those pores.

Tip of the Day :

How to add radiance to your face and shrink those pores.

Take about 5 teaspoons of powdered peas , 3 teaspoons of sour curd , 5 drops lemon juice , some mashed papaya and mix this together by adding some organic rose water ( please don’t use perfumed rose water) it’s better to use water if pure rose water is not available.

Apply this to your clean face for good 20 minutes and wash it off with cold water. Make sure that you keep a spray bottle filled with regular water in your fridge and spray that on your face after taking of this pack. Cold water when used from a spray bottle not only cools down our cells but add that glow to your face and the best part is that its so relaxing and rejuvenating .

Let me knows how this works for you guys.

Tip of the Day - DIY Sunscreen

Tip of the Day :

DIY Sunscreen.

My skin is super sensitive towards the sun hence I avoid stepping out in the sun as much as possible , which I am sure is not an option for lot of people.

For some reasons sunscreens have never worked for me and I have felt that most of them clog my pores. This however may not hold true for many of us as we all swear by our sunscreens.

So now I prefer to make my own sunscreen which was a hit and trial thingy for me  but lucky me it worked awesomely well . Mix aloe vera gel and lacto calamine lotion together apply this to the exposed body parts . Give it like some 5 mins to get completely absorbed. I also powder my face after this during summers as it prevent sweat and add another layer of protection on my skin.

Let me knows how this works for you guys.

How to ligten skin naturally

Lotus Rejuvina Professional Herbcomplex Protective lotion’s Review

Hey you lovely people, Today I would be reviewing one of my all time Favorite product.

I am blessed with sensitive skin :) prone to redness.  I consider myself very lucky to have been introduced to this product some 5 years back and I haven’t come across something that’s even close to it.

This lotion is like genie in a bottle and grants a lot of your beauty wishes. I am sure that we all swear by our sunscreen and can’t do without them, but with this particular product I have not been using sunscreen separately. It’s a natural way to use as a base and can serve as a replacement for BB creams and Foundation especially during summertime and oily skinned beauties can use some pressed/loose powder on top. However, it doesn't cover or conceal any under eye dark circles , flaws or pigmentation marks etc.   It smells like the normal regular lacto calamine lotion. Consistency is similar to any other lotion

I use this everyday and also use it under my foundation. It really takes care of skin rashes or inflammation of any kind. This is my go to product especially in summers as it provides a cooling effect and controls redness caused by skin's exposure to sun etc.

Quantity and Price: 250 ml for Rs 545

Availability: At professional Salons which sell Lotus products , Beauty Centre ( Crawford)Mumbai

Value for Money: Yes (You need a pea sized amount)

I prefer to cover all the parts of the body which will be exposed to sunlight. You can use a sunscreen on top of this lotion.

What the product claims :

·         Cures Skin rashes and ruptures

After every skin treatment, facial skin becomes very delicate and sensitive. It has to be shielded from environment and UV rays. Rejuvina Herbcomplex Protective Lotion does the trick.

Results : This unique protective lotion cures skin rashes & ruptures. Protects the skin from UV rays , pollutants , environmental damages.  Soothens the skin  and relaxes the face.

Himalaya Herbals Anti-Hair Fall Hair Oil Review

Himalaya Anti- hair fall Oil

Once upon a time, I used to have thick, gorgeous and lustrous hair. But, then things changed over a period of time due to erratic food schedule and sleeping patterns and also thanks to my hostel life and expensive hair colors treatments that I indulged in. This phase lasted for a few years, till recently, when I discovered this magic potion called Himalaya Anti- hair fall oil.

I bought this on a whim,as I thought  that this one like the other Anti -hair fall oils might just be a marketing gimmick . But, I am glad to say that I was proved wrong. This product actually works (yes it does).

The best thing is that this oil has been tried not only by me but my sister-in-law and my sister as well. I can safely say that it did not let anyone down. However, it works best if you leave it overnight.

Quantity and price: 100 ml for Rs.100
                               200 ml for Rs 180

What the website says :

Anti-Hair Fall Hair Oil

Strong and healthy hair

What it does:

Himalaya's Anti-Hair Fall Hair Oil prevents hair fall and stimulates hair growth. Enriched with the goodness of Thistles and Indian Gooseberry that strengthen root shafts and prevent hair fall. Fenugreek is rich in lecithin and proteins that nourish the hair roots. Neem and Bael work simultaneously to prevent scalp infections and keep hair healthy.

Key ingredients:

  • Thistles strengthen the hair root and prevents hair fall.
  • Indian Gooseberry, a natural hair tonic used extensively in Ayurveda, is an effective ingredient for treating the hair and scalp. It prevents strengthens hair follicles and promotes hair growth.
  • Fenugreek is a natural source of protein. Protein is important in rebuilding and   strengthening the hair shaft. Its medicinal properties help to reduce hair fall and hair thinning.
  • Neem relieves dry and itchy scalp and also promotes hair growth.
  • Bael acts as an astringent and is also useful in treating excess hairfall and a scaly scalp.

Directions for use:

Part your hair and apply oil on the scalp. Massage the scalp gently in a circular motion using your fingertips so that the oil is absorbed into the scalp. Leave for an hour or more before washing.

What’s I like about the product :

·        Prevents hair fall
·        Pocket friendly
·        Not loaded with chemicals
·        Easy availability
·        Amazing list of ingredients
·        Lives up to its claim

What's I dislike about the product  :

Honestly , its one of those products that doesn't disappoint you at all.

There is a common myth among people that oiling your hair can cause hair fall. This is, however not true unless you really pull and tug at your hair while you oil them. Another, important thing to remember here is that it’s your scalp that needs the oil not your hair and massaging your scalp is necessary to get the best results. Its  important to massage your scalp for good 20 minutes to improve blood circulation and promote hair growth .

Repurchase Value: Totally , I am on the third bottle now.

Auerate Rating : 10 on 10 , results may vary from person to person.

Do let me know, how this works in your case.

Wish you a day full of "More Beautiful You" & don't forget to flaunt your Best Asset, Your Priceless Smile!
