Makeup is one of the most potent tools available. I am not joking when I say that. It really has the power to transform you. I am sure we all have grown up being obsessed with our mom's Vanity Kit (I know I was). I just couldn't wait to go to college and start using makeup. Though back in my college days our two best friends used to be kohl and lip gloss. However, today our exposure to makeup products has increased manifold and it’s not limited a couple of things.

Coming to how can make up transform you. Quoting Calvin Klien "The best thing is to look natural, but it takes makeup to look natural”. Nothing works as effectively as a makeup in adding oomph to your personality. I have always associated makeup brushes with Magic wands as both of them have a similar function of granting your wishes. Makeup gives you the confidence (we all can do with an extra dose of that). It has also been associated with making women feel good about themselves and when we feel good we look good.

Makeup like any other art form is about exploring and expressing your creativity. There is a lot that you can achieve by letting go of any inner inhibitions and experimenting. Not all of us are blessed with flawless skin, but the same can be achieved with makeup.  Nothing says glamour the way red lipstick does. Concealer on any given day if used correctly can be your best friend. Playing up with different styles of eyeliner can alter your eye shape and leaving your house without 3 coats of mascara should definitely be considered a crime :)
